The manga (original title: "Sukippu Biito!") appeared for the first time in 2002 and was published by Hakusensha in the shoujo manga magazine "Hana to Yume". At the moment (October 2008) 20 volumes of the manga are available in Japan and it is not known when the series is going to end.

Description

Kyoko Mogami is a modest and diligent girl who after graduating from middle school has gone with her childhood friend Sho Fuwa to Tokyo to help him with his pop star career in the hope that they have a joint future. Having many jobs and working till late she pays for the their rent and meals never once doing something for herself but dedicating her life to help Sho. But by accident she learns that Sho only brought her along because he didn't want to do any strenuous work and therefore needed a "servant". All the time knowing that Kyoko was in love with him!

Kyoko's reaction to this new may not be what he expected her to do: she vows to take revenge on him. And what could be better than to become Sho's biggest concurrent in the Show Biz and beat him in his own field? Taking a 180° turn from her usual habits she spends lots of money on her new styling and goes to the LME Pop-Productions determined to do everything to become a showstar...

But unfortunately Kyoko has lost the ability to love and this is something you must have if you want to have success in the show biz. But the president of LME Productions gives her another chance and she becomes a trainee in the newly founded Love-Me section at LME Productions and experiences many things; good and bad. And nearly every time she crosses paths with Sho's greatest rival, the successful & handsome actor Ren Tsuruga who always manages to make Kyoko angry but also often helps her. Will Kyoko get her revenge in the end or will she fail?

Mangaka: Yoshiki Nakamura

yoshiki nakamuraNakamura Yoshiki was born on the 17th June in the prefecture Tokushima. Her blood group is B. Nakamura Yoshiki already started in elementary school to draw manga characters on loose papers but aside from her drawing talent she also played a lot Basketball in school and was generally interested in sports. In the end she (fortunately) decided to keep drawing and in 1992 she debuted with the manga "Yume de au yori suteki" in the magazine Hana no Yume.
